Nobody owns leftover cloud resources
An engineer spins up a test VM, moves on, and the disk, the public IP and the network card keep billing for months. Nothing in the Azure portal tells you they are orphaned — you have to already know what to look for.
Shared credentials live in chat
The production database password is in a pinned message. The payment gateway key is in a spreadsheet. When someone leaves, nobody is sure what they saw, and rotating anything means asking around.
Offboarding is a memory test
A leaver's Azure account gets disabled the same day. Their Figma, GitHub and Notion seats keep billing until somebody notices the invoice three months later.

How much paid leave do I get. Can I expense this. What is the notice period. The handbook has the answer, and HR still answers it by hand every week.

Do you need access to our Azure subscription?
Cloud Manager needs the Reader role, which is read-only. That is enough to scan and report. If you want it to deallocate idle virtual machines for you, you can also grant Virtual Machine Contributor — that part is optional, and without it everything stays report-only. You assign the roles yourself and can revoke them at any time.
Where does our data live?
Findings, cost snapshots and licence records are stored in Azure Table Storage in our Azure tenant. Secrets in Vault Governance are stored in Azure Key Vault and never written to our own tables — only the metadata about them is. We do not sell or share any of it.
Is this on the Azure Marketplace?
Not yet. Our publisher verification with Microsoft is still in progress, so for now we onboard pilot customers directly. If you would rather buy through your existing Azure billing, tell us and we will let you know the moment the listing goes live.
