This page describes what our tools read, what we keep, and how to make us delete it. It is written to be read, not to be survived.

What we read from your Azure tenant

Cloud Manager uses the Reader role you assign, which lets it list resources and read their configuration and metrics, plus the Cost Management API for daily spend totals. It does not read the contents of your storage accounts, databases, virtual machine disks or key vaults. If you additionally grant Virtual Machine Contributor, it can also stop and start virtual machines — nothing else.

What we store

• Cloud Manager: resource IDs, names, resource groups, tags, the reason a resource was flagged, estimated costs, and daily spend totals by resource group.
• Vault Governance: secret names, owners, rotation schedules, who has been granted access, and the audit log. Secret values are stored in Azure Key Vault and are never written to our own database.
• IT & License Hub: employee names and work email addresses, the tools and seats assigned to them, joining and leaving dates, and the text of the handbooks you upload.

This lives in Azure Table Storage and Azure Key Vault in our Microsoft Azure tenant.

What we do not do

• We do not sell, rent or share your data with anyone.
• We do not use your data to train machine-learning models.
• We do not place advertising or third-party tracking on this site.

Where data leaves us

One case only. If you enable the optional AI answering in IT & License Hub by supplying a model API key, the handbook passages relevant to a question are sent to whichever provider that key belongs to, so it can write the answer. You choose the provider and their terms apply to that data. With no key configured, nothing is sent anywhere and the feature falls back to plain search.

Access and deletion

Email tanmay@husknode.com and we will export or delete your organisation's data. We aim to do it within seven days. You can cut off all access yourself at any moment by removing our role assignment in your Azure subscription.

Retention

We keep data for as long as you are a customer. When you leave, tell us and we delete it. Audit logs are the one thing we would ask you to confirm before deleting, since they exist precisely to be un-deletable in normal use.
